++ Sabnack BIO ++ SABNACK is a female-fronted Japanese hardcore band that has been rocking out live shows since '02. Just straight music, real, in your face, no covers or illusions needed here. We're a band without a ball dress on, no gimmicks, no lace or sequins (except maybe on Memi's thong, if sheﾕs wearing one at all!). It's all just spit and grit right in your eye. No dance steps or stupid-ass choreography, just get up to get down, jump around! Start it up, let her rip, hair whippin', lyric flippin', no you ain't trippin', that's SABNACK tearin' down the soul kitchen!
The signature SABNACK sound is unique, grabbing the crowd's attention with the powerful female lead vocals and a sexy Japanese accent, followed by an out pour of deep emotion thatﾕll push your mind out into the void of emptiness, clear your page, then bring you back to reality with a smack in the face, suck your heart up in your throat yearning for more, then force it out of your mouth, onto the floor in the dark depths of the mosh-pit ensuing. Whether you're drooling for more, or just from the numbing pain alone, SABNACK will keep it comin', throwin' down hard Deftones inspired heavy hords and solid beats, up to fast paced hardcore that always get the crowd jumping. SABNACK formed in the autumn of 2002, and their first demo was released in February 2003. Individually, each member of SABNACK is very different, but, brought together by an immense passion to play live, incredible unity is created through this combination of diversity. Each member draws upon a unique background, meshing one another's styles, tastes, and personalities to create the SABNACK sound, which never stops progressing! While we were playing shows vigorously at local venues, we played with overseas touring bands in Japan such as; The Black Dahlia Murder (Detroit, MI / Metal Blade Records), Into The Moat (Camelot, FL / Metal Blade Records), Zeromind (San Francisco, CA / Powerslave Records), and some others. We have performed over 200 shows in throughout existence, in places such as Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, and many other cities in Japan. Our first album, "Before Dawn", recorded and mixed by Deguchi from M4II studios, was released in November 2005 by Nasty Records. SABNACK also appears on the compilation CDs, "Utsusemi Sampler" by Utsusemi Music in 2003 and "Ash Type 2" by Ash Records in 2004.
